Horizons is a Knowledge- and Experience sharing Forum with focus on SAP Technologies and IT Strategy. The starting point for the discussions is the great changes and technological challenges and tendencies of this day and age, focusing on what SAP brings to the marked and the community brings back to SAP.
The forum centers around…
▪ Professional dialog and sparring
▪ Technical Insights from Experts
▪ Knowledge sharing with other SAP companies
Plenty of companies are in the middle of a great technology transition with Cloud Transformation, Customer experience and the Digital Mindset and this is a chance to get other perspectives and horizons on that journey, preparing you for the current and future challenges your company is facing.
The Story of Horizons
We often encounter the same challenges at different companies and most of these could have been circumvented if the companies only knew what others had done in the same situation. There is so much happening on the transformation and technology side that organizations are struggling to keep up and adapt at a pace that satisfy the requirements of the business when faced with disruptive technologies and an increased competitive situation. We wanted to mix our experience into the pool and allow everyone to benefit from the accumulated knowledge of the SAP technology scene in Denmark. Bringing our experience and insights to the table also adds a foundation for discussing and gain greater knowledge for the companies participating in an open dialog.
Digital Transformation is difficult, so why would you want to try alone?

The participants are primarily your colleagues in the SAP business. Everyone responsible for the absorption of new technologies in the business from the IT Director/IT Manager to the Enterprise Architect are welcome. The Event
The events occur 3 times a year and the location shifts every time to a different participant, ensuring that it doesn’t stay in a single area within the country. Everyone is free to suggest hosting one of the events. Presenter: Henrik Secher Jarlskov
Description: “Bringing Intelligence into the ERP World”
The Hype around AI is on all around the world, fueled by Stable Diffusion, Midjourney and especially OpenAI’s Chat-GPT. Everyone are seeing massive potential for the Enterprise, but what is already there and what is coming?
How much can you automate and what will be the impact? What are the dangers and what is the investment? Then questions are many and the hype offers little in terms of clarity.
In this session of Horizons, we’ll dive into what this will mean for SAP ERP in relation to the latest version of SAP S/4 HANA, SAP BTP and SAP Fiori.
Get some real context and be ready to be challenged on both mindset and capabilities – despite the premise of massive-automations and cost-savings from jobless humans to improved business processing time. Diving into the topic without looking through the glasses of someone who wants to sell “AI” or increase the hype will provide you with a unique insight that can contribute to the technology strategy of your company – and a chance to get some questions answered, allowing you to challenge the approach to AI.
If you do not challenge the way you do it today no one will.
